The grapes for the Generations Chardonnay come from our estate vineyards in Jameson Canyon located at the southern end of Napa Valley and a vineyard over 1,400 feet in elevation in the Atlas Peak appellation. The Jameson Canyon estate vineyard is planted on rolling hills with cooling winds from the nearby Pacific Ocean that provide a long, cool growing season enhancing the intensity of the Chardonnay flavors and maintaining bright, balanced acidity.
Our Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from southern facing slopes just north of Diamon Mountain Road. Our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes benefit from the well-draining volcanic soils and direct sunlight, resulting in grapes with brighter acidity and full-bodied, well-structured tannins.
Our 2015 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is a lovely deep garnet-purple color in the glass and opens with aromas of black currants and dried herbs. This wine coats the palate nicely with flavors of blackberry, espresso and subtle earthy notes. This is a medium to full-bodied wine with well-balanced acidity, tannins, lovely fruit and a lingering, perfumed finish.The grapes for the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from a single vineyard at 1751 ft. in elevation in the highly coveted area of Cold Springs Road. The Forward Silt Loam soil has excellent drainage and the grapes were harvested from a shadier side of the vineyard to avoid over exposure to the sun.

The vines in the two blocks were picked according to their location with the afternoon block providing riper fruit lending more jammy characteristics to the wine and the morning block, which ripens slower, adding more complexity.

Due to the way this vineyard is planted, we harvest the morning side and the afternoon side of the vines separately so as to bring in each berry at the peak of ripeness. Intense fruit flavors and complex tannins best characterize wines from this vineyard.

The wine is produced to showcase the terroir and distinct flavor characteristics of our cherished vineyards.
The grapes in this blend were grown Biodynamically and organically to create a truly harmonious expression of our estate. The 1 ½ Acre opens with purple fruit aromas of boysenberry and huckleberry accented by cassis and black licorice with vanillin notes. Sarsaparilla vanilla continues through to the palate in this rich and dense wine with velvety tannins. The finish is long and juicy.2015 was our third harvest of our meter by meter planting at Raymond Vineyards. Our estate is planted to all five varietals of a classic Bordeaux blend and designed to be the truest expression of terroir from our certified organic and Biodynamic® vineyard. Harvested on October 9, a fruit day in accordance with the Biodynamic calendar, the grapes were in their optimal state for the wine to realize its full potential.

Our Small Lot Collection Syrah grapes come from a single vineyard in Conn Valley - a small valley just to east off the main Napa corridor. This hillside vineyard is angled so that it only gets morning sun which allows the grapes to ripen at a moderate pace avoiding any excess sugar build up and allowing true phenolic ripeness. This vineyard has soils that are made up of mostly clay and rock, which is excellent for Syrah because it likes to grow large leaves and berries. This Syrah is blended with a small amount of Malbec to provide added richness and mid-palate density resulting in a perfectly structure wine.
The 2018 Estate Collection Chardonnay opens with enticing aromas of stone fruit, orange blossom and a touch of white pepper. The grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc are grown in two of our estate vineyards in Jameson Canyon and St. Helena.Our 2019 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing with aromas of honeysuckle, honeydew melon, and key lime. On the palate there is flavors of citrus, jasmine and crisp, bright acidity and a touch of stone minerality on the finish.
The grapes for the 2018 Napa Valley White Meritage come from three distinct vineyards. The Sauvignon Blanc is from two of our estate vineyards, one in Jameson Canyon and the other in St. Helena. The Semillon is harvested from a vineyard grown on Tehama Silt Loam in St. Helena which offers well drained soils from mixed alluvial sources. This Semillon lends great density and creaminess to the wine.

Our 2019 LVE Chardonnay is full, rich and balanced. The nose boasts aromas of white fruit, star jasmine and mango. Long on the palate, its reminiscent of caramelized butter and almond with a hint of cardamom and citrus zest. The wine was 100% barrel fermented in a mix of Francois Frere and Baron oak barrels 38% new for 8 months before bottling. The wine went through 100% malolactic fermentation with a mix of native and inoculated ferments.
This 2016 Brut Blanc de Blancs is bright and fresh - opening with citrus and white flower aromas. Notes of guava and crème brulée open on the palate, accented by toasted almonds and brioche. This beautifully balanced wine has a long finish with essence of clementine.
