Our Small Lot Collection Syrah grapes come from a single vineyard in the Oak Knoll AVA. The vines are planted to Fagan clay loam formed from shale and sandstone. The vineyard sits at 350 feet on a western facing hillside location wich allows the Syrah to become ripe without over ripening.
The 2020 Small Lot Napa Valley Syrah is an extravagant dark ruby color in the glass. Alluring aromas of ripe fruits, toasted almonds, and a dash of oak drift from the glass. Bold flavors of spiced plum, baked blueberry pie, and allspice coat the palate. The lush, well-rounded mouthfeel leads to a memorable and lengthy finish.
