2019 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from two of the highest vineyards in Napa Valley with one reaching 1,483 feet in elevation. The higher elevation means cooler daytime temperatures and warmer nighttime temperatures so these grapes have prolonged hours of growth during the day as compared to the valley floor. The vineyards are planted in Hambright soils that were weathered from igneous rock and sit above the fog line.
Deep garnet purple in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon has a bouquet of blackberry and black cherry with notes of black currant. Rich flavors of plum, raspberry and crème de cassis are layered with dark cocoa and baking spices. With fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity, this is a bold wine with a finish that lingers. Sold out. |
