The grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in four vineyards within the Rutherford and Oakville AVAs. The grapes from Oakville provide the plush texture while the fruit from Rutherford adds structure and density to the wine.This 2019 Estate Collection Cabernet Sauvignon embraces the nose with aromas of dark plum, ripe cherry, toasted almond and a touch of cedar. Rich, condensed flavors of blackberry, raspberry and cranberry are layered with notes of spice and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with structured tannins and a silky, soft mouthfeel, the finish is long and alluring.
The Merlot grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley wine were harvested from two vineyards. The St. Helena fruit brings freshness and vibrancy to the wine while the fruit from Yountville adds texture. The Petit Verdot brings the two Merlot vineyards together to create a nicely balanced wine.A dark purple in the glass with dark fruit aromas and hints of mocha and baking spice. The soft and velvety palate has layers of black cherry, boysenberry, raspberry and a touch of vanilla bean. Balanced with structured and juicy tannins, this is a full-bodied wine with good acidity. The finish is long and lingers.
The grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley Chardonnay are grown in a single vineyard in south Napa. They were harvested from three blocks and are a combination of Dijon and Clone 4. The grapes spend afternoons in temperatures warmer than the valley floor, but the mornings and evenings are spent in fog with cool, marine breezes ultimately helping to evenly ripen the grapes. This area is ideal for producing Chardonnay with bright acidity and creamy, citrus flavorsFresh white peach with a touch of honeysuckle and lavender arises from the glass. Notes of orange zest, lemon and lime enhance the apricot and honey notes with a soft touch of brown sugar and white pepper. The mouthfeel is soft, luxurious, and nicely balanced with a refreshing and lingering
The grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc were grown in our estate vineyard in Jameson Canyon. Two blocks were selected, both on gentle sloping hillsides to maximize sun exposure as this is a cooler climate. Afternoon temperatures are warmer than the valley floor, but the mornings and evenings are spent in fog with cool, marine breezes ultimately help to evenly ripen the grapes.This area is ideal for producing Sauvignon Blanc with crisp, clean mineral flavors with hints of melon.
